<p>The actuating lever passes through an opening into brake drum. The penetrating lever is connected to brake actuator within drum, and effective sealing is ensured between the actuating lever and brake carrier, and clattering noises of the brake drum are eliminated. The opening (2) is covered from outside by sliding cover plate (10) on the brake drum plate (1). The hand brake lever (3) passes through this plate which ensures sealing. The cover plate (10) is held by a two arm spring (12), supported on the brake lever (3), against the brake carrier (1). The spring (12) is threaded into a bore (11) of the lever (3) and spring arms (13, 14) are in contact with the covering plate (10).</p> |
