Parent patent describes a powdered binder based on mixts. of epoxide resins (I), polyesters (II) with free COOH gps. as hardener and alkylimidazole deriv(s). (III) of formula in an amt. of 0.05 - 5 wt.% w.r.t. (II) as accelerator where R is H or alkyl; R' is H or 1 - 4 C alkyl and X is as R' or vinyl. In this patent of addition, R is 5 - 23, pref. 10 - 18 C alkyl, a 6 - 10 C aromatic gp. or benzyl and one of the R gps. can be H.
