PURPOSE: To sufficiently operate to print a xerographic photocopy for a long term by lowering a roughness and moisture of a top side and lowering a porosity and sizing level of paper. CONSTITUTION: The pressure-sensitive copying paper comprises microcapsules containing an inorganic color developer material and as a substantially colorless chromogenic material as loadings within a thickness of the paper. The microcapsules can be broken by an image pressure to discharge the chromogenic material into contact with the color developer material. Thus, a colored copying image is formed. The paper to be used for the copying paper has a mean Bendsten roughness on its top side up to 880 ml.min<-1> , a mean Bendsten porosity of up to about 200 ml.min<-1> , and an ex-mill moisture content of not more than about 5.5% based on the total weight of the paper. The moisture in the case of delivery is about 5.5% or less as compared with a total weight of the paper. This paper has no deterioration of traveling property of the paper in a copier for contaminating a copier belt, a fuse roll and a photoreceptor, a warp of an allowable range and a good hue held, and copy image forming capability can be held. |
