PURPOSE:To reduce the surface force of a hull and to retain the marine propulsive performance by providing flow straightening members at interval along the outer surface of the portion bearing the surface force. CONSTITUTION:Flow straightening members 4 are arranged at interval from the hull 2a via springs 3 along the outer surface 2a of the hull portion 2 for bearing the surface force upon rotation of a propeller 1 at the hull S. The springs 3 are mounted via clutches on the hull 2 and switched to support or not support elastically the members 4 upon engagement or disengagement of the clutches. Accordingly, when the clutches are suitably engaged or disengaged, it can select the synthesized spring constant without resonating the hull vibrating system. Thus, it can eliminate transmission of the surface force dynamically to the hull portion 2. |
