<p>A fire-place unit which distinctively includes a cookery oven in combination therewith and laterally opposite internal air spaces whereby the fire-place unit has the aesthetic enrichment of a stove appearance and also acts as a hot air furnace of the gravity circulation type with heat dissipation effect by air circulation in these lateral air spaces. This fire-place combination unit comprises a casing having a rear portion insertable in a wall or partition and a wider front portion operatively positioned forward of the wall and unconspicuously concealing the narrower rear portion, a fire-place combustion chamber, a cookery oven in the casing over the fire-place combustion chamber and spaced from the laterally opposite walls by lateral air space, a pair of upwardly spaced grilles on each side of the wider front portion in communication with the corresponding lateral air space.</p> |
