发明名称 ZINC BATH SURFACE CONTROLLING METHOD IN GALVANIZING
摘要 PURPOSE:To uniform plating thickness and obtain a product of high quality by detecting the position of the surface of a zinc bath in a galvanizing vessel with a vortex type bath surface detector provided above the surface; feeding the output signal to a zinc supplier; and supplying zinc to the vessel in accordance with a bath surface drop. CONSTITUTION:Iron plate 3 is fed from a furnace to the next process through molten zinc 1 in galvanizing vessel 2 by being introduced by rollers R1-3. A signal from detecting section 4 provided above the bath surface is amplified with bath surface position detector 5, and the resulting bath surface level signal is inputted into control disc 6. While comparing the output signal of detector 5 to the standard value, disc 6 drops ingot 7 by means of motor M1 and always maintains the bath surface at a certain level. When ingot 7 is dipped under the bath surface, arm 8a of lifter 8 is turned with motor M2 and a suspending wire is dropped with motor M1 to suspend ingot 7 on conveyer 9, thus moving ingot 7 onto the bath surface again.
