The cable has plastic insulated strands, which are separated into sections via moisture plugs. The cable is suitable for use in telecommunication circuits. There is a saving in filling agent and is produces a lower effective permittivity. One of the pairs of conductors has perforated insulation. The pairs are formed by opposite conductors of a star group. The insulation of the pair is removed on one side at regular intervals. The impedance of the uninsulated sections are in a given ratio to those of the insulated sections.
