PURPOSE:To greatly improve the washing efficiency and reduce the washing cost, by moving the train washer while the train is stopped in a predetermined position and washing the sides, front, rear and coupled surfaces of the train by mechanical force. CONSTITUTION:A dirver for moving a truck 1 and drivers for brushes are controlled through control units 5, 5 by the signal of a detector 4 while the train 6 is stopped. The sides 6a of the train are washed by revolving main brushes 2, 2'. The front 6b or rear 6' of the train is washed by reciprocating the main brush 2 or 2' on the front or rear while the truck 1 is stopped in such a position that the main brush corresponds to the front or rear. The coupled surface 6c of the train is washed by operating an auxiliary brush 3 while the truck 1 is stopped in such a position that the auxiliary brush corresponds to the coupled part. The entire train is washed by mechanical force. |
