PURPOSE:To provide a device, capable of removing stray magnetic particles contained in a flow. It consists of a cyclon which causes a flowing body to rotate in the midway of a fluid transport pipe made of steel, and a plurality of magnetic poles provided in the cyclon. CONSTITUTION:Conduit 11, such as a gas pipe, is connected to inlet 13 provided at the upper end of syclon 12. The fluid which has flowed into cyclon 12 from inlet 13 is blown against the inner surface of cyclon 12 around discharge pipe 14 so as to make it rotate. By the centrifugal force produced by the rotation, fine particles contained in the fluid are made to shift to arrester 15 of an inversed cone shape provided at the lower part of cyclon 12. Net 16 made of magnetic wire and of a spherical shape is provided inside arrester 15. This net is magnetized by permanent magnet 17, so that it can attract fine magnetic particles in the fluid moving to arrester 15.
