Stabilised halogenated polymers contain (I) a first stabiliser of formula I. and (II) a second stabiliser of formula II. Rx(RY)ySnX4-(x+y) (I) Ra(RS)bSnZc-(a+b) (II) R=subst. alkenyl, (cyclo)alkyl, aryl, alkaryl or aralkyl, Y = O or S; X is different from R, and is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkaryl or aralkyl, -YR, -OCOR, -OCOCH=CHOCOR, -S-R'-OCOR, or -OSn(R2)YR; R'=difunctional hydrocarbyl; x=1, 2 or 3; y=1 when x = -OSn(R2)YR, and is otherwise = 0; Z=S, -SR, -OSn(R2)SR, -S-R'-OCO- or -S-R'-OCOR; a = 1, 2 or 3; b = 1 when z = -OSn(R2)SR; and otherwise y = 0; c=4 when Z= -S-R' -OCO, and = 3 when Z = S and a = 2.
