<p>The machine-tool mounting is used with a multi-post turntable, comprising a horizontally displaceable slide on a vertical slide (7), and incorporating mechanisms for adjusting the horizontal, vertical and angular relationships of the moving parts. Vertical adjustment of the slide may be provided by studs fixing a slideway (4, 5) to horizontal grooves (3) incorporated in the face of the turntable substructure (2), oblong openings (8) in console cheeks locating a bar (9) acted on by a power cylinder (10). Horizontal adjustment of the slide may be provided by oblong base plate openings locating slidable fixing bolts. A plane bevelled spacer may be positioned between the slides to provide angular adjustment.</p> |
