The rear reflector of the vehicle is moulded onto a support plate (3) to form a hollow space (5) sealed from the outside to prevent ingress of dust and moisture. The space is vented by a special insert plug (6) to prevent overpressure due to thermal expansion of the air inside the reflector. The thermal expansion can be as a result of strong sunlight or low temperature stoving for subsequent bodywork repairs.
