The cupboard incorporates a refrigeration unit which forces cooled air into shelving designed to receive movable trays. The cupboard also incorporates heaters for heating separately compartments between the trays. Each tray consists of a top plate made of moulded plastics with compartments inside in which food may be placed. A bottom plate also made of plastics, is welded to the top plate along its base. The bottom plate has at least one hole through which coam can be injected and solidly filling the enclosed space between the two plates. Each plate includes a heating area between a stainless steel trough the periphery of which is embedded in the top plate, and an insulating cover which is movable and can be fitted into the metal trough.
