PURPOSE:To clean filter cloth while dehydration is operated and to adjust the dehydration rate, in a continuous filter-separator suitable for extracting soy sauce or soy milk. CONSTITUTION:Drive rotor 2 in the dirction of arrow 47, and caterpiller 4 provided outside of two ring-shaped chains 5 in the direction of arrow 13, and feed objects to be treated from supply port 16 into the dehydration chamber consisting of rotor 2, vane 29, side plate 30 and filter cloth 18. Then, with the progress of rotation of rotor 2, the dehydration chamber becomes narrow, and thereby, the liquid portion is discharged through many holes provided in filter cloth 18 and caterpillar 4, and the portion of solid remaining in the dehydration chamber is ejected from discharge port 27. In this case, when pin 42 is moved to position 42a by causing cylinder 36 to make an extension movement, the distance from rotor 2 to filter cloth 18 via guide 15 at discharge port 27 is reduced, and thereby the dehydration rate of objects being treated can be increased. |
