The apparatus comprises a tubular body (10) made up of a first horizontal section (11) through which the liquid to be treated arrives, an inclined section (12), a second horizontal section (13) through which the treated liquid leaves, and a branch extending the inclined section (12) upwards. The apparatus further comprises a storage vessel (15) filled with treatment liquid, a conduit (16) connecting this storage vessel to a distribution device (17) situated at the bottom of the section (12), two baffles (18) and (19) secured in this section (12) following the distribution device (17) and a turbine (20). The apparatus makes it possible in particular to incorporate a deodorising liquid into a malodorous viscous or pasty liquid such as liquid manure, and the like. <IMAGE>
