<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a motor from damaging by supplying a predetermined signal in response to the control mode of the motor to drive the motor, and controlling a motor current when the excess of the current is detected to stop/ reversely rotate the motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor driver 3 is controlled by a signal responsive to a control mode output from a controller 5 to rotate a motor 2 in response to a motor. When a current detector 4 detects the excess of a motor current, it supplies an overload signal to the controller 5 to stop the motor or to reversely rotate. Thus, the motor is stopped or reversely rotated not only when an overload occurs due to the malfunction of the motor itself but when a finger is inserted to the movable unit of the motor, thereby preventing a danger. This is adapted for a video tape recorder and the like.</p> |
