A control system for traffic intersection controllers comprising a supervisor unit 40 having a microprocessor arranged to interact with storage means to store traffic movement plan data in electronic form, timing means providing a time reference to maintain time of day and day of the week in the unit and means for feeding the traffic plan and time reference to a linking unit 41 controlling a traffic intersection controller 43 solely in accordance with the time reference and the stored traffic movement plan data; output interface means 44 for connecting said linking unit to the traffic intersection controller 43 and input interface means for feeding traffic movement plan data and a base for time reference into said storage means of the supervising unit from an external source. <IMAGE> |
