The missile is of the type having a warhead from which ammunition is ejected and a driving tube at the warhead base. The open end of the tube furthest from the base has a retainer for a free piston working in the tube and forming the rear end wall of the charge chamber. A gas passage (17) extends from the charge chamber (4) in the driving tube (3) to a working chamber (8) in the warhead casing (4), to eject the ammunition from the latter, and incorporates a control shutter (18).
