POROUS FIBER-CERAMICS MATERIAL AND EXHAUST GAS FILTER COMPOSED THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To form a porous fiber-ceramics material having improved strength by forming a composite of an aluminosilicate fiber and a potassium titanate fiber having stable strength to heat and sintering the composite and ceramic raw material powder with each other. CONSTITUTION:The objective porous fiber-ceramics material is produced by sintering an aluminosilicate fiber and ceramic raw material powder with each other to obtain a porous fiber-ceramics material and forming a composite from the material and a potassium titanate fiber. Said porous fiber-ceramics material can be used as a material for an exhaust gas filter for a diesel engine and the filter is resistant to cracking in regeneration since the material is a composite with potassium titanate fiber.
