The lifting mechanism is used in a trolley crane designed for use as a foundry or reactor crane. The duplicated lifting system is designed to prevent damage to ropes and ensures increased safety of operation. The load carrying rope systems (3, 4) are arranged symmetrically and one rope system (3) contacts the inner rope pulleys of the lower pulley. The second rope system (4) contacts the outside rope pulleys. The ropes are guided over a system of two compensation pulleys (15).
