Flood water damming unit - has membrane forming enclosed tube for pressure medium underneath flap-type blocker

The water dam esp. for floods consists of a foundation section, a hinged flap-type blocker and a membrane underneath the latter forming a space which can be filled with a pressure medium to define the limits of the blocker extension. The membrane is formed as an enclosed tube (10) receiving the pressure medium (11) and extending along only a section of the flap-type blocker (3). The tube (10) is installed between a surface (12) rigidly fixed to the foundation section (1) and another surface (13) rigidly fixed to the blocker (3).
