<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate troublesome sequence and to prevent the occurrence of a recording error by superposing and supplying an original and the top of a recording medium, feeding the original after they are separated, and feeding the recording material to a transfer means. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with a supply means 9 superposing and supplying the original 2 and the top of the recording material 3, a carrying means 19 feeding the original 2 to a reading means 6 after they are separated, and a carrying means 10 feeding the recording material 3 to the transfer means 11. The carrying speed of the recoding material 3 and the peripheral speed of a drum 1 are the same so that a distance DA between the exposing position of the drum 1 when the leading area of the original 2 is exposed onto the drum and a transfer position can be made equal to a distance DB between the leading area of the recording material 3 and the transfer position. Both an original detecting means 12, detecting the mistaken separation of the original 2 from the recording material 3 and carrying trouble and a recording material detecting means 13 make a distance from a pair of resist rollers 9 equal. Thus, the troublesome sequence is eliminated to prevent the occurrence of recoding error.</p> |
