<p>The solid fuel boiler which can be adapted for gas or oil firing, has between the chimney connection (6) and the combustion chamber (2) a vertical duct connected to a horizontal duct (5) discharging sideways. This is positioned under the two connections (6) which form part of a heating system for the oil or gas storage tank above the boiler. The vertical duct has corrugated sides (8) with the corrugations (9) on the two sides staggered. The horizontal duct (5) can be closed by a plate one end leaving the other end open. This duct is cooled by the water of the water jacket. The top (10) of the inner sheet forming the combustion chambers slopes downwards to the rear, under the horizontal duct. The rear part (12) is parallel to the vertical duct, and is also corrugated.</p> |
