<p>In a valve comprising a cylindrical chamber, a ring-shaped elastic sheet is pressed against an inlet opening of the chamber in order to avoid flexion breaking of the elastic sheet, the shape and arrangement of the sheet being such that it may easily expand when the valve is open under the pressure of the medium being isolated without being supported by the inside walls of the chamber.</p> |
