<p>The upholstered cushion is for placing on seats such as benches, and comprises a foam core (1) on one or both sides of the outside surfaces (2) of which is a layer of hot glue (3). The hot glue layer (3) is covered by a muslin layer (4) over which the cushion cover (5) is pulled. The hot glue layer (3) can be applied to the entire contact surfaces (2) or only at points or strips. After the hot glue layer (3) has been applied to the foam core (1) contact surfaces (2), it is allowed to cool, after which the coated foam core (1, 2, 3) receives the muslin insection (4) and is put into the cover (5). The front sides of the cover are then stitched up, and the whole unit quickly fused at roughly over 140 deg.C and pressure is applied.</p> |
