Liq. crystal display control system - uses two base voltages applied to electrodes of separated groups

The method uses two base voltages to control two electrodes of separated groups. In the case of a maximum of two electrodes in a group in a display circuit one of the electrodes is continuously controlled by a negative base voltage. The element terminals are controlled either by a zero voltage or an intermediate positive voltage whose difference with respect to the two base voltages is lower or greater than the operating voltage of the display element. The display elements (F) are arranged in the usual seven-bar pattern showing the figures 0 to 9.
