<p>The belt-type profile grinder has a base with a support face for the work and a guide protruding above it for the grinder belt. The guide (32) is detachably secured to the base (10), and alongside it is a mounting for a tool, driven to and fro. The tool drive can be taken from that for the belt, and the mounting can be uncoupled from it. Tool drive can be via a crank mechanism and there can be a jockey roller (42) on the free end of a lever swinging in relation to the drive shaft, in order to tension the grinder belt.</p> |
