<p>PURPOSE:To extend the variable angle of a valve timing without enlarging a device by constituting a differential gear with three parts of a wave generator, a flake spline and a circular spline, and deviating the phase between a cam pulley and a cam shaft. CONSTITUTION:When an engine which is not shown in the figure is rotated, a turning power is transmitted to a cam pulley 1 so as to be transmitted to the circular spline 9 of a harmonic drive 10 formed integrately with the cam pulley 1 by means of a bolt 13. In addition, the turning power is transmitted to a cam shaft 3 fixed by means of a bolt 14 through the spline 8. However, the wave generator 7 of the harmonic drive 10 is not rotated since the generator 7 is fixed on a harmonic driving shaft 6 formed integratedly with a driving motor 5. The harmonic drive 10 is thus operated as a differential gear.</p> |
