PURPOSE:To provide a comera which can prohibit an unnecessary drive when the focus matching is impossible by releasing the lock of a shutter release while being interlocked with the locking action of a photographic lens paid out to the focusing position with a control signal. CONSTITUTION:Range finding element 2 is energized by the voltage of electric power with the depression of release buttor 1. The lock of brake plate 9 due to electromagnet 4 and lock lever 3 is released by range finding signal via OR circuit OR resulting from output corresponding to the distance range of an object to be photographed of the above element 2. Thus, the amount of paying out the lens 11 via the brake plate 9 and the distance range signal of the element 2 are compared in the comparator CP. The coincidence signal in the comparator CP becomes control signal, and the lock of contact piece 21 due to electromagnetic coil 25 is released by the control signal. The suspension of the control plate 9 due to the lock lever 15 and the lock release of shutter first blind 18 due to the shutter release lever 16 are carried out. Therefore, when the focus is not matched, the control signal is not produced so that the unnecessary drive of the camera is prohibited. In addition, the warning of non-matching of the focus can be issued by utilizing the output of the comparator CP. |
