A recording sheet for pressure-sensitive copying paper is produced by coating on a support a coating composition containing a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt and then a coating composition containing an alkali metal salt or an ammonium salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid. The recording sheet has excellent flatness and surface strength. |
