<p>PURPOSE:To write a program even in a surface-mounting type ROM by compos ing the title device of a programmer capable of writing the program to be written when an IC clip is fitted to a ROM chip through a probe, etc., to the ROM chip. CONSTITUTION:The pin of a ROM chip 15 surface-mounted on a printed wiring board 13 and an IC clip 3 can be electrically brought into contact with each other by fitting the IC clip 3 to the ROM chip 15. Next, the program expanded on a RAM 9 of a ROM programmer 11 is written from the ROM programmer 11 through a socket 5, a probe 7, and the IC clip 3 to the ROM chip 15. Consequently, the program is written to the ROM chip 15. Thus, the program can be written even to the surface-mounting type ROM chip 15.</p> |
