PURPOSE:To enable the Japanese syllabary to be inputted without making the operation of combining two alphabets by operating keyboard switches having at least 10 keys capable of inputting the Japanese syllabary by Roman letters. CONSTITUTION:A character input circuit part E constituted by 10 key switches 22a thru 22j provided to a keyboard and a quinary counter 25, etc. is so formed as to permit cyclic inputting of the Japanese syllabary with two consecutive Roman letters . The Japanese syllabary and numbers inputted from the character input circuit part E and number input circuit part D are stored in a memory circuit part G and are displayed in a display part A by switching the switch 17 of a selection circuit part C. Here, if switching of, e.g., key switch 22a, is repeared, the quinary counter 25 performs counting and the contents thereof are stored in a memory circuit 8. The contents of the memory circuit are displayed in the display part A through a driver 21 and therefore switch operation may be performed by viewing this. |
