PURPOSE:To achieve easier and surer time correction and eliminate aging errors and temperature errors of a crystal vibrator by automating the time correction and performing frequency dividing adjustment of a variable counter at the same instant of time correction. CONSTITUTION:If the watch is so set that the next corrction signal is sent accurately at a 1-second interval, the start signal and next start signal are sent at a 1-second interval and therefore if it is so constituted that the input gate having been opened by the start signal of a vibration number memory part 6 is closed by the output from a detection part 5, then the vibration number of oscillator part 7 vibrator for a new 1 second is stored in the vibration number memory part 6 and in a frequency dividing part 8 which divides down oscillator part 7 output, the accurate 1-second pulse may be sent from a comparing part 9 to a clock counter part 10 when the frequency number memory part 6 and each stage coincide. In a word, this is a kind of variable counter. In this way, the error components of the crystal vibrator may be eliminated. |
