PURPOSE:To enable the user to select 12-hour display and 24-hour display according to need by alternately changing over and setting the time display contents of a display device to the 12-hour display and 24-hour display through repetition of operation of a switch. CONSTITUTION:Closing of a switch 6 causes a time correction control circuit 10 to subsequently select a second counter 2, minute counter 3, hour counter 4 and flip- flop 14. While the flip-flop 14 is being selected, it is the mode of changing over 12- hour display and 24-hour display and changing of the display systems is accomplished each time when the switch 7 is closed. Determination of the display systems is accomplished by controlling an hour decoder 13 with the output of the flip-flop 14. The signal selecting the flip-flop 14 controls the decoders 11, 12, 13 so that a display device 15 displays display patterns such as of symbols, characteris, etc. indicative of the 12-hour display and 24-hour display. |
