PURPOSE:To prevent making pin-hole contact, and also to obtain at the 1st time characteristics of a short line sample, by interposing an insulator large in thermal coefficient of contraction between superconductor materials and by decreasing its temperature down to an ambient temperature when the characteristics are gained. CONSTITUTION:Superconductor material 3 is wound in a bifilar way around insulatng FRP plate 2 of coil bobbin 1 with an interposed insulating substance large in coefficient of contraction such as nylon wire 4. Then, the excitation test of the superconductive coil constituted in this way is done twenty times and its temperature is returned to an ambient temperature; in the further repetition of the test, characteristics 6.3T-770A of the short-line sample can be obtain at the 3rd time in the first repetitive test and they reach that at the 1st time in the following test. Further, the same chararacteristics can be obtained even by making tests with the excitation speed changed. |
