<p>PURPOSE: To manufacture a shut-off and control valve at low cost by combining a small number of part items by providing a housing with outer and inner holding faces in an innermost area of an inflow port, and connecting a spring to a flow control disc and the housing through a valve stem. CONSTITUTION: A valve seat disc 3 and a flow control disc 4 are unified by passing a valve stem 2 and sealed by a seal ring 23. Two seal rings 15, 16 are fitted to the outer and inner holding faces 12, 13 of a housing 1, and then a unit comprising the discs 3, 4 and the valve stem 2 is inserted inside from an inflow port 11 of the housing 1. A spring 21 is enclosed in a recess 14 from an end face on the lower reaches of flow and thrusted in a force preapplied state between the housing 1 and the valve stem 2 by a snap ring 28.</p> |
