The signals are, e.g., tens and units criteria transmitted on the base of pulse position modulation, for STD systems. Signals are transmitted simultaneously over only one wire. Pulses of a first kind which must become effective at a specified time, or for marking of a specified selector output, are either not affected at the specified time by pulses of a second kind, applied to the transmission wire through marker elements, or voltage or current of pulses of the first kind are so affected, that they have no effect on the evaluation element. The second kind pulses are marked by a gap or by pulsewise connection of resistors of voltages.
