The remote control system for the headlamp setting has an electric servo motor on the headlamp mounting, linked to a servo control switch via a simple potentiometer control and linking cables. The driver operates the setting control for raising and lowering the setting without having to leave the cab. The setting control can also be linked to an automatic control in which the adjustment is linked to the suspension deflection to reduce the effect of pitching and static deflection.
