Thermostat for engine liq. coolant temp. control - ensures constant temp. by mixing chambers controlled by expanding elements

The regulating thermostat ensures constant required operating temp. of liq. coolant in an i.c. engine. Mixing chambers ensure uniform temp. of coolant. Overheating is prevented by expansion elements in the thermostat. The expansion element (3) of the double phase valve (22) in the thermostat chamber (58) is exposed to coolant at actual temp. The armature lever (59) passes through penetrations between the thermostat chamber (58) and the mixing chamber. The armature lever is connected with the cylinder (5) of the expansion element (3).
