The system which uses the energy of water waves, has a large number of floats arranged to a predetermined pattern on the surface of the sea. The pattern is such that a first float is situated obliquely to the rear of a second one when seen in the direction of a first pressure movement of a mass of water, and the intervals between floats are such as to deflect a first water pressure wave obliquely, while the second float deflects it forwards and rearwards so as to strike the first one. This causes the first wave to collide with a second one. Each float is also so shaped as to deflect a wave obliquely towards one behind, so as to make full use of the remaining wave energy. Each float can be coupled to a lever, so that its up-and-down movement is converted into mechanical energy.
|
