The control circuit, for a motor driving a tape recorder, allows the motor to be brought to a standstill quickly and under control without the risk of tearing the tape. The motor's (1) speed is detected by a bridge (5). A transistor or similar (6) is connected in series between the motor and its supply (8). The motor's speed is controlled (9, 11, 13) according to the magnitude of the armature current. The transistor can be turned off with the aid of an electrical signal from a 'stop motor' circuit (15, 16).
|
