<p>A self-adhesive holding member for positioning a base plate on a prepn. table is formed from resilient plastics material and has an adhesive substance on one surface and a supporting layer on an opposed surface. The member is formed at one side with surfaces at a right angle for engaging both sides of a corner of a rectangular base plate. The member may be formed of foam rubber and the supporting layer formed of hard plastics material, a metal sheet or stuff glue coating. The holding member is for positioning a nail plate for producing a truss system of wood on a prepn. table. The holding member is easily fitted, precisely positions the nail plate, and is cheap to produce since there is little wastage involved in its prodn. from plastics strip.</p> |
