The protection hood of sheet metal is used for a circular saw. The saw projects outwards through a slot in the saw bench top. The gap wedge and hook are independently adjusted. The projection hood holder (7) is made integral with flaps projecting on circular saw. The flaps have two guide brackets bent out sideways. These brackets engage with the gap wedge (8) longitudinal slot. Integral design ensures that components are always correctly installed.
