Heat retaining receptacle for food containers - incorporates tray with heater in bottom, with water compartment

The heat-retianing receptacle for keeping warm various food containers inserted in it, incorporates a medium which transfers heat to the receptacle walls. In the bottom of the receptacle (10) is a tray (13) fitted with a heater (15) and connected by a pipe (17) to a compartment containing (16) water. The bottom of the receptacle slightly tilts towards the tray (13). The water compartment (16) is contained between the inner receptacle (10) and an outer receptacle (18). The compartment enclosed by the inner receptacle (10) communicates by means of an opening (10) with an intermediate compartment (19). The opening is sealed by a flap which is held by spring pressure.
