The seat belt fitting is designed for use in a two-door car. It has the belt clasp at the end of a retracting support (13) on the outside of the seats, along the inside wall of the car. When the door is opened the belts are released and the mounting retracts. The system provides a simple and secure fitting for the belts, which does not impede access to the rear seats. The belts still have full effectiveness in the event of a crash.
