PURPOSE:To improve a heat transfer performance of nitrogen gas on a second liquid chamber side by installing a liquid drainage to the upper part of a condensation vaporizer, a liquid medium introduction passage and a liquid medium vaporization passage to a first liquid chamber, and circulating the liquid medium through the liquid drainage and the first liquid chamber, allowing the liquid medium to be vaporized. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied oxygen LO distilled in a upper tower 6 is introduced into a liquid drainage 25 by way of a liquefied oxygen intake pipe 30. It flows down through a liquid medium intake passage 27 in an oxygen chamber 21 and is introduced into each vaporization passage 28a of a liquid medium vaporization passage 28 by way of a communication passage 29. The liquefied oxygen is heated by nitrogen gas introduced into a nitrogen chamber and is partially vaporized and turned into oxygen gas GO and rises as a gas liquid mixed flow. This gas liquid mixed flow is separated at the liquid drainage 25. The oxygen gas GO is partially output as a product, the rest of which is turned into a rising gas in the upper part tower 6. The oxygen gas is also output as a product or a safety liquid acid. A greater portion flows into the liquid medium intake passage 27 once again and circulates through the oxygen chamber 21. It is, therefore, possible to operate a condensation vaporizer with a minimum quantity of liquid medium. |
