<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a photo potentiometer of high resistance by so constructing the same that its resistor is folded back and is put in contact with a photoconductive film near the plural knees. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 1 is formed in folded back shape and a photoconductive film 2 and electrode 3 are provided on the side thereof, by which the effective length of the resistor 1 is increased and yet the effect of the distribution resistance by the photoconductive film is reduced. Then, the change in the output voltage accompanied with the displacement of a light radiating part becomes stepwise but may be kept to the extent of not giving any hindrance in practical use by increasing the folding back times of the resistor. On the other hand, the requirement for the resistance value distribution of the resistor may be readily met and the realization of a desired resistance change curve is made easy.</p> |
