PURPOSE:To provide a disposer, which is capable of removing foreign matters such as metal and ceramic wares, for instance, spoons and forks that are unexpectedly introduced into disposer together with garbage. CONSTITUTION:In case that foreign matters such as metal or ceramic wares are introduced, by mistake, into disposer together with garbage, lock means 20 is unlocked and valve body 17 is retracted by pulling handle 19, whereby casing 3 and foreign-matter collecting chamber 11 are communicated with each other via foreign-matter collecting window 10. On the other hand, foreign matters turning around in casing 3 are struck away by rotary blade means 6 itself and also by the function of centrifugal force and received in foreign-matter collecting basket 13 through said window 10, as shown by arrow B in the drawing. |
