A coupling device protecting a needle-shaped play back converter against arc damage caused by the electric charge stored on the record medium, consisted of a capacitive device inserted between the needle and the reference voltage point. The capacitive device related to the disc record surface having a conduction circuit capable of storing and bypassing the electric charge, and a needle for converting information.
