PREPARATION OF PHTHALOCYANINE PIGMENT EMPLOYING AN INSOLUBLE COPPER OF A HALOGENATED PHTHALIC ACID

摘要

Improved process for the preparation of halogencontaining copper phthalocyanine pigments using an insoluble copper salt of a halogenated phthalic acid as an intermediate. The improved process substantially eliminates loss of the intermediate during isolation and evolution of hydrogen halide gas during subsequent contact of the halogen-containing copper phthalocyanine pigment with concentrated sulfuric acid.
